Website for newbies?

I've just got my first instrument. I'm going to start having lessons soon, but just wondering if there are any resources on the net which might explain the basics...things like holding the bow, etc.? It would be especially useful to have some diagrams or pictures.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The website you are on is pretty much the best source, besides having a teacher. On holding the bow, I suggest you wait until your teacher shows you. But if you would like to do some reading:

Thanks for those. I guess I should find a teacher sooner rather than later!
