What should I put my endpin on to deaden the sound?

My sisters bed room is directly below mine and I keep my bass in my room and practice very often. If its late I use a practice mute but I never noticed that the horrible sound of me playing goes straight into her bedroom.

Is there anything I can put under my end pin to muffle the sound a little bit? I've heard of people using rubber mats or foam, but what do you all recommend?

Thanks,
Cassadie

I can't claimed that it does help but... It really can safe a floor made of wood. And I just like the fact that the bass is not sliding or anything.

But what I did is buy the kind of floor mat for kid full of color that are really soft. like that: http://www.greatmats.com/children.php which aren't that expensive and you can put two under your bass and try.

but I heard of some people using a pillow... I never try it but it's still cheaper
