Whats it like in the Big Apple??

just like to hear from any cats out there in NY, how is life there for a no name musician?? can u survive waiting tables by day and playing to odd gig here and there? is rent sky high?

Now that the crack epidemic is over and the place has cleaned up so much, I'd say that NYC is the best city America has to offer hands down and it's worth anyone's while to move there if they have the burning desire. But if this were the 80's I'd say you were an idiot for being there and a salute-deserving-soldier for sticking it out.

O.K. I'll butt out now and give the homeboys room.
