it was changing hands and the new owners were to update it this weekend. I was able to get on a bit earlier today but it's gone again.

Owners, I didn't think forums like that HAD owners, I thought they were generally just a guy or couple guys who ran it for fun.

thank you for all your hard work, I know I wouldn't want to do it. I'm sure there are aspects that are a total PIA.

and now it has a different look. It's certainly a nicer looking bunch of locked threads though. I jumped over to the bluegrass forum, but it doesn't get much use, either.

Has anybody that plays in a really loud band tried any of those foo-foo hoity-toity double bass amps like Acoustic Image or Euphonic Audio.

I want a loud loud amp, but weighs 1 pound , when it comes to hauling gear i'm REALLLY lazy. I've resigned myself to the fact that I know I'm gonna have to tote a 4x10 to get the dB's. But I thought I could gain some volume, get a good tone, and lose some laden weight all at once with one of these rigs.

I was thinking i could use the little combo amp for cocktail gigs, they use it as a head for the amp'ed up loud a$$ rock show.

I have been foregoing the amp in favor of a preamp into the PA. I did maybe 3 gigs with a full setup and got tired of hauling the urb and misc immediately, now everything I take fits in my bag.

Yeah, some of the combos out there weigh around 20 pounds and the heads as little as 6 or 8 pounds, so 1 pound was sort of a joke.
