woofing

My daughter tells me that her bass is woofing on a couple of strings. I think that this is some sort of harmonic resonance problem, but I'm not sure eactly what it is or how it can be fixed. Any suggestions? I'd like to help her out since she is now a poor starving college student (majoring in bass performance)

Check out the newbie links at the top of the "Setup and Repair" forum or post topic there. Lots of info on wolf tones in that forum.

Good luck!
