You know you need a break when...

You listen to a recording of the CSO playing Beethoven 7 and think there's a bassist in the section that needs to re-dress his fingerboard...and it turns out you have a speaker going out on your system. I need a vacay...

You know you need a break (or change of scenery) when you're playing some standard with some guys you're used to playing with and you think to yourself in the middle of the trumpet solo "he's going to quote xxxxx when we get to the bridge" and he does.
