$245 Strap!?

Sign in to disble this ad
So, my favorite bass of all time is the pre-EB Stingray, or Sabre, so every now and then I browse through eBay to see what I can find.

I came across this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-70s-Musi...#ht_500wt_1117

Seriously? If this guy sells this thing, he deserves that $245 and then some.

That's worse then the broken Ampeg cube amp (little battery portable thing) that actually went for $200.

Stuff like this is why it's almost impossible to find anything cool that's music related any more.

I won't be shocked if that strap sells although I doubt it.

I've paid some really good moolah for a strap before, but it was a really nice strap - Moody. This, on the other hand...

I usually have more GAS than

a) the British Oxygen Company Ltd
b) the trans-Siberia pipeline, or
c) the top right corner of the Periodic Table of the Elements

but even I wouldn't want to buy that strap.

So, the two straps I have at home from the 60's might be worth a few hundred bucks...
Old is the new, new!
