Play at a cityfest this afternoon. Thank goodness PA was provided! I brought my bass rig and gave them a signal from my SD Parnormal. Other bands were under the impression I was going to leave my rig........they were wrong! |

I love playing, but I thought I was going to die around day 4. I get home and Nashville is on fire, at least it feels that way.

When we played it was 115. I had never experienced anything like that let alone putting on a high energy performance. I was so exhausted and destroyed I ended up bolting off stage right after the last song and barfing all over the place outside right as everyone was coming out. Sucked pretty bad.

I practice in my garage in 90+ degree weather with 80%+ humidity with no insulation or air conditioning. I think the metal door actually heats it up.
Granted, it's not the same as being in a gig.
By the way, the above post was meant to be light hearted. No offense.

Then we'd come back home to the sun and our dad would kill us all, dance on our graves and sing hallelujah!
