25th Anniversary and the blues jam...

Sign in to disble this ad
Tomorrow, Dec. is my wife and I's 25th anniversary. I have also been hired to play bass at the local blues jam, filling in for the keyboardist who normally plays keyboard bass for the event. My wife and I have been going a lot lately, and we had already talked about going before I got the call the other day. Now, I will be getting payed to play at the jam and our anniversary. Tell me how lucky I am to have a wife who is getting into this as much as I am. Her name is Regina, and I have always called her The Queen. See what I mean? She IS. It will be a happy time, ya'll. I just wanted to share it with yas.

Congrats, Russell. Sounds like you found a keeper for sure. Of course it's "only" been 25 years, so the jury is still out.

It'll be 38 years for my wife and I in about 2 weeks. No idea how she's put up with me this long...

Sounds like a good time to buy the wife a very nice dinner, either before or after!

Thanks, Jeff. Congrats on 38 years. Wow. I hope I live long enough to make it to that. And yes, I think I'll keep my wife. Yep.

I also get free dinner at the jam. But, I'm paying for us to stay at our favorite Nice Little Motel up by Table Rock this Friday. It will be a whole week of celebration, then it's Christmas. Woohoo!

Thanks, pal.

FYI, our home computer is not doing well, so I am having to go to my day job to use that one in order to keep up. Might be scarce for a bit, but I'll keep up best I can til we get an new computer.
