African drums

On tour around Africa and everywhere I went there was drumming, drumming
In the streets , drumming on
Safari .. I asked my guide why are there so many drums . He turned around to
Look at me straight in the eye "when drum stop, very bad thing happen" . This both scared me and intrigued me. We got to a village and the drums were still going. I braved asking the guide again about the drumming , same answer " when drumming stops , bad bad thing happen" It was odd to see genuine superstition at such a massive level. I crossed further into the heart of the country. At another village i met the chief and asked him why there was so
Much drumming .He said "when drumming stop, bad things happen " I asked him what could be so bad. "BASS SOLO"
