I was reading a thread where someone posted about the brown note and included this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_note

at the bottom of the page, it talks about it's use in fiction and this is what they say:
In the show (southpark), the "brown noise" was described as "92 cents below the lowest octave of E-Flat", although the pitch sounded was actually F# (46.25 Hz).

now, the e flat part was part of the show's joke, but was the guy who "corrected" by saying f# just having fun with wikipedia, or was that actually part of the episode too?

wow. I just realized how stupid I am. sorry everyone. just forget I said anything at all. somehow, I got F# confused with F flat and E flat confused with E# (which would have made the joke), yada yada yada. wow I feel like an ass.
