This probably isn't the best thing from craigslist, but this one really cracks me up.

I wonder what else he needs?

Sounds pretty reasonable to me...maybe contradictory with the "I don't need extremely good musicians but you do need to be okay" and the "So if your looking for a band and want a good one" comments.

I'd be interested if it was anywhere near me. I'm an OK bassist, you can't play for 22 years and not learn something... and my workshop will make a great practise space when I get around to sorting it out. I've been living in the arse end of nowhere for two years now, I'll take just about anything.

I guess I was commenting more on the fact that he needs all the musicians and a practice space, but wants the whole thing up and running ASAP. Just doesn't seem like he's done this a lot...

I was kidding... Just playing along with the guy's apparent desperation.

I know what you were getting at...but still doesn't seem unreasonable. No sense in rushing to TB to start a thread about the guy when all he wants is to get a few musicians and a practice space together.

There are tons of guys like this in my area. They claim to play, but don't have an instrument. They have tons of songs, but none of them written down or recorded. They have great ideas but...

There's always a but. The word 'but' implies a contradiction to the previous statement.

I guess what I'm saying is don't advertise until you have all your ducks in a row? I mean, who really wants to jump on it and says "sure dude, I've got a practice space and instruments" to some guy on the internet? Just looks like an opportunity to get burned.

So because he doesn't have a practice space...he's not allowed to start a band?
