Do you people realize how absolutely foolish you look?? Do you realize that the vast majority of us using this forum as a means to an end roll our eyes and shake our heads when we see one RE after another about pointless topics?

How does this all begin? Someone posts something they think will get a response - either a serious response to a serious inquiry or an anticipated response from a loaded posting. Then you morons who think you know everything post a reply.

Reality is this - if you're that good that you can break down a guitar chord to its atomic level or your band is that good that a major record label is waiting to sign you once you find a singer, you won't need Craigslist in the first place. Musicians in the echelon you fools think you are part of have an infinite number of network talent pools from which they draw the players they need; and none of them are RE: RE:'ing their life away in this forum. When Metallica needed a new bass player or 3 Doors Down needed a new drummer, they didn't post an add on Craigslist...and please spare me the gratuitous slams against the specific bands I mentioned, they were just the first ones to come to mind.

If you want to impress one another with your vast knowledge of pentatonic scales or debate the meaning of "major record label", do it in private so as not to inspire the rest of us to fantasize of bashing your musically gifted skulls in with a tire iron. Do us and the rest of the CL world a favor and use this forum as it was intended, as a place for ameteur musicians to network with one another and exchange services, and not as a perch upon which you glare down your nose at the pleebs beneath who should be awed by your skill.

Oh, and to the one RE:'er who posted a picture of scales to go along with his musical hubris:

I don't see anything humorous there at all, in fact I think that the guy nailed his point across quiet well.
