Another semi-funny craigslist ad

YO!!! My name is Jordan and i am a guitarist from St. Paul, as is my buddy Ed. We are looking for a drummer, bassist, and lead singer to complete the lineup for our new band. We are both 20 looking for people our age to play. If you are a 15 or 16 year old kid don't respond to this. Must be at least 18. We are looking to play all original music (NO COVERS). It is gonna be a mixture of hard rock, metal and punk. We want to sound unique. Our influences are Rev Theory, Pantera, 10 Years, Tool, Bleeding Through, Misfits, 5 Finger Death Punch, Avenged Sevenfold, Theory of a Deadman, Rammstein (minus the keyboards), PM5K, Deftones, and local boys Blue Felix.

You-

Drummer- Have a nice kit, good speed (don't have to be Tim Yeung), double kicking a must.

Bassist- Have at least a 4x10 and a head, don't follow guitars for every song, some is ok but not constantly, be able to groove and add to the music.

Singer- I said singer not a pure screamer, if you can scream that is a plus but if not i can cover it cuz i was the screamer in my last band, have somewhat of range. Ability to write lyrics preferred but not required, the other guitarist is very good at it.

Another requirement is no f*cking egos, everyone has an equal say in everything done. No one is more important in the band than anyone else.

We are by know means the best guitarists in the world but we each practice at last 5 days a week to improve our skill. That being said you dont have to be Flea, M. Shadows, or Joey Jordison. So if you fall into ony of the above categories as a musician please respond to this and help us make great music.

Actually, other than the cursing that's a pretty reasonable ad in my opinion...... long as you ignore the YO at the beginning .

I've tried out for a couple groups where that's exactly what they wanted...right down to my using their non-serviced for twenty year tube amp and 1970's era jazz bass clone with 1970's era strings still on it.
