Anyone here named thier kid after a bassist?

Sign in to disble this ad
Just attented the christening of my very good friend's son, who they've chosen to name Miles Davis Robson, which I personally think is excellent, and not one of those names you'd hate your parents for landing you with!

But it got me wondering, has anyone followed, or know anyone who has followed, a similar path, be it with a musician in general, or a bassist?

Ten points to anyone who called thier son Flea..

No but my wife ended up with a funny name and surname when marrying me. My surname is Wadge (pronounced wedge). Her name is suzanne but shortened to Sue. Pronounce Sue and Wedge together quickly and there is an unpleasant image.

The better thing to do would be to name your child after a bass.
Any kid named, e.g., Precision or Stingray is going to be badass.

I would never name a child after a bass player.
You can ask my little girl, Fender....

I named my first born after my favorite salesman

at my favorite music store. The slaesman did play some bass, but mostly guitar. I dealt with him from sometime in the mid 60's until around 2003.
