All of this time I have been pushing myself, striving, sacrificing in my pursuit of the top of the mountain only to find this novice sitting on it. Time to put my toys away and quit this business. How could I have been so misguided? Maybe he will take on students. Wow, I can only hope...

Here is the ad as a courtesy to you guys so this thread will make sense when the ad has expired.

Well, I've finally done it. I bought a bass guitar and an amp yesterday, so now I'm a bass player. I haven't figured out why it has 4 strings, when you can only strum one at a time. Speaking of time, can anybody tell me what drummers mean when they talk about time? The bass has these knobs on top to make the strings tighter. I'm sure I'm the best bass player in Wilmington, so let's get a band together and jam. Only the best players need apply. I like to listen to jazz, screamo, Willie Nelson, Disturbed, Tighten my wig, Cannibal Corpse, and James Taylor. I'm 27, so I prefer players between the age of 26 and 28 only. I don't have a car, so you will have to have a place to rehearse, and you will have to come to my house and pick me up. It feels great to know I'm the best bass player in Wilmington. I heard somebody at the music store talking about "reading music." That's crazy. How can you "read" music? Music comes out of a speaker. It's not like a book or something. You listen to music and then you play along with it, just playing any notes you feel like, regardless of the key or the scales or modes or passing tones or leading tones or any of that bull crap. If you wanna play with me you have to be able to improvise. So hit me up and LET'S ROCK !!!!

Completely agree. The Wilmington CL forum is not productive in any way.

I had to check your location to make sure you weren't in Nashville.
