awesome first gig

had my first gig with a new band last night, and we rocked the f-in house, everything was tight, people were into it, owner wants to get us back 2 times a month.
only downside was that I couldn't hear myself onstage, but what a great feeling when people come up to you after and tell you that you rocked.
ok, done gloating, hope some other people had gigs as good as mine last night.

Congrats, bassyamaha5!!!

Couldn't hear yourself? Try repositioning your bass cabinet so it's near a boundary or two or three (floor, wall, corner, etc.) Boundaries reinforce low end significantly. Or, change the position of your bass amp in relation to the PA stack.

Good luck.

Great isn't it? Can't wait to put a regular gigging band together again myself.
