Do you:

1 - play bass more then a few hours a day?
2 - Constantly draw or write down the details to your dream bass?
3 - have lost or been given ultimatum's do to your constant playing
4 - Suddenly looked at the clock to realize that you have work in a few hours and need to put down the groove long enough to get some sleep?
5 - Canceled an important event because you just "had to get this riff down"?
6 - Had to sneak into the house in the early AM beacause you stayed out all night working with your band?
7 - Played so long your finges bled and then only stopped long enough to fix the problem.
8 - Do you zone out while playing only to realize that several hours have passed.
9 - Do you hug the UPS delivery guy when your new gear arrives.
10 - Do you break traffic laws to get to guitar center?
11 - Do you wait outside guitar center to open when a new bass is being displayed?
12 - Do you check Craig's List more then once a week for that "Sweet deal"?
13 - As your gear collection grows have you realized that you're other stuff is quickly dissapearing?
14 - Have you ever starved for a month just to get the money together for new gear?
15 - Have you ever passed up time with a loved one because you had already pulled your bass out of it's case?

If you have answered "Yes" to more then three of these questions then you are a Bassaholic, and you're among friends.

Eleven. crap.

Working on twelve, gotta get back to a solid practice regimen for that #1 there.

Though I might slide in on #9. When UPS is coming, i nearly develop CTS from clicking "refresh" on the tracking page, and start staring out the window every five minutes at 10am. I smoke out front. Pee with the bathroom door cracked open. Jump at noises, stare out the window again. Meanwhile, in two years, the guy's never showed up before 5pm.

Think if I tried to hug my UPS guy, he'd scream, drop my gear, and mace me. I got crazy eyes on gear day :)

I hear you. last UPS gear delivery I got I litterally stayed up for 76 hours waiting. Couldn't sleep because I was too excited. then when I got my stuff (it was my Traben array) I stayed up another 3 hours setting it up and jamming on it. Finally had to put it down otherwise I was going to pass out with it in my hands.

Actually, I cannot claim to a single one of them, except I do check Craigslist very, very regularly.

1 - play bass more then a few hours a day? (I practice most of the day, but try to always clock a few hours of playing with others)
4 - Suddenly looked at the clock to realize that you have work in a few hours and need to put down the groove long enough to get some sleep?
14 - Have you ever starved for a month just to get the money together for new gear?

I have a little corner next to the bed where my basses and practice amp are. My band usually plays 1-2 times a week but me and my drummer get together more like 3-4 times a week to work on stuff.
