Gotta admit though, that coffin is over the top. I still think the ultimate sales job gene did is landing Shannon Tweed.

And people would still like the Beatles without the merch and without them being on family guy about 5 times.

KISS rocker GENE SIMMONS sent a coffin which was made especially for him, to the family of ex-PANTERA guitarist DARRELL 'DIMEBAG' ABBOT, after he was killed on stage during a concert last year (2004).
DIMEBAG was inspired by cult group KISS, and requested in his will that he be buried in one of the famous coffins.
Simmons says, "There were a limited number made and I sent mine to the family of 'Dimebag' Darrell. He requested in his will to be buried in a Kiss Kasket, as he sort of learned his rock 'n' roll roots by listening to us for some strange reason."

I seem to remember hearing Gene talk about it, saying that it was made for this purpose and a lot of bars were ordering them and filling them with ice and beer. |
