Bass Haiku

Sign in to disble this ad
First smoke, then silence
Your very expensive rig
Dies so suddenly

I didn't write that, but I remember reading it in a Bass Haiku thread years ago on the Low Down Lowdown. Cracks me up every time!

Post your own bass haiku poetry in this thread. A haiku is a Japanese traditional poem consisting of three lines: the first with 5 syllables, the second with 7 syllables, and the third with 5 syllables.

Have fun!

As long as it grooves

(adaptation of a comment by Nels Cline)

it's not in your gear
it's in the notes that you play
and how you touch the bass

Eight plus eight is four
And four plus four equals two
If I speak of ohms.

Deep, infectious grooves
make her body writhe in joy -
She likes the low end.
