-"My luthier does a good nut job..."

-"Gallien-Kruger gives good head..."

Someone's signature had the best bass-ism quote though...(paraphrasing)

"Grab that blonde by the neck, and say 'I'm going to slap the **** out of you'"

I've got a bumper sticker on my car that says "Congratulations, like most musicians you are now following the bass player!"

My dad's got an old P bass (though he's a hammer dulcimer player, go figure) and he was talking shop with the bass player from a local band. Just as I walk into the room, I hear him proclaim proudly, "My P is warm."

It's a bout time!

Let me explain fingering.

He asked to see my tail piece, so I pulled it out and showed it to him.

You need a new nut cut

Three fingers are better than two

If you hit the right spot, they'll just pop right out

A light touch is best

Bass players like being on the bottom

"I'd love to try a P/P instrument"

"my neck is crooked, could you twist my rod a bit?"
