Bass Player Threat Levels
Citizens, we must be ever vigilant. If you hear something, say something! The groove you save may be your own.

Can you skip threat levels? Like, if you don't slap or tap but play b9s and tritone subs? (Been there done that...)

I was thinking the same thing.

i guess i hit "elevated" threat levels here and there, but that's it.

Is there something between guarded and elevated? I don't use effects, and not many 16/th notes, but I do play more than root/fifth. ...or does that fall thru the cracks?

Find a foxhole :hiding:, I do all of those but thumb slap - finger slapper.
BTW:you forgot double-triple stops and chords. Seems a low percentage of bass players use them so that may be a threat. And Taurus pedals - complete societal breakdown.
