I once had a dream where I was filling in for JPJ and i couldn't remember communication breakdown, this them morphed into me playing with Jimi Hendrix where I didn't know Purple Haze. both of these were in a completely empty venue. It was weird, I woke up that day and was like "I need to relearn Purple Haze!"

Me either. Or even one about performing. Is that odd? I never really thought about it.

Ok, today I woke up after having this one...

I was on a wedding gig in a strange town and the hall was some kind of converted community center/government building.

We had gotten there with plenty of time to set up and sound check but this dream started with me fumbling around in the back of the room with my cables and clothes. My gear was on the stand, but I must've forgotten something and/or I didn't have the right suit coat on. (?!)
So, the band plays the 1st song without me and I'm in full panic mode trying to get it together. They then proceed to launch into "Johnny B. Goode" and I ran up and plugged in just in time to play the final note of the song. Ta-da!

Oh, I almost forgot the best part- Rosanne Barr was a guest at this wedding and was loudly berating me the whole time for not being ready.

Recently I had a dream where I was at band practice at my old band's jam spot. I picked up a Fender bass with a matching headstock, silver in color and beautiful. It would match my buddies Fender Stratocaster perfectly. My buddy with the strat walks in, so I go to put the bass on, the strap was a scarf and so short that the bass was nearly choking me, but we get to jamming anyways. We play an awesome song, and then abrupt ending.

I wish I had that jazz bass with the matching headstock. Absolutely gorgeous.

I read through this entire thread thinking about how I had never had a bass related dream, then just last night I had this very dream. I had a whole song written and arranged and it was so catchy! I woke up and tried for over 20 minutes to remember any of it. But it was gone. All of it. Most depressing start to a day, ever.
