It's important toestablish a strong bond between a bassist and a bass, one of the best ways to do this is to hang out with your bass, take it to dinner and a movie, or just spend quality time with it. Remember your bass has feelings to, so treat it right

For the first few nights, I sleep with mine. I also when laying in bed, place the body on my ear, and play notes so I can hear them thru the wood.

please remember to be responsible- if you and your bass are in the same bed PLEASE use protection (Hard shell cases work good)

Over the edge??

I usually have my bass on while i'm sitting on the computer, or watching tv, in the car etc. i think i crossed the line when i didn't bother to take it off to use the bathroom.

i do that too. or i'll put my ear to the back of the neck. or place the base of the body on the edge of my big computer desk, so the notes resonate through the wood of the desk.
i sleep with my bass in bed sometimes.

Human beings are not machines and however powerful the pressure to conform, they sometimes are so moved by what they see as injustice that they dare to declare their independence. In that historical possibility lies hope. Missing from such histories are the small actions of unknown people that led up to those great moments. When we understand this, we can see that the tiniest act of protest in witch we engage may become the visible roots of social change.

Admit it, guys. Most, if not all of you have wood envy with your bass(es). I know I do.

"Aaah"...a sigh of pleasure escapes my lips as I run my fingers over her body. Her perfect, round curves leave me wondering, "How did I end up with her? Why me?"
But that thought becomes but a whisper, as I bring my fingers to gently caress her neck. Her beautiful, slim neck.
Then, without saying a word, I ease my hands down the length of her body, and slowly remove her G string...
