I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

"Who can tell me what's going wrong here?"

"He's wearing his bass too low?"

During band practice I move around the least but when we play a show I'm the one that moves around the most. Weird huh?

I try to be relatively non-boring on stage. Maybe even toss in a jump or two, just to see how it feels. When the songs are good (and not too hard to play!) it's fun to rock out.

"Make eye contact. Sing along with them. Give 'em a little n^t shake!"

This cost me some coffee this morning.

It's funny 'cause it's quite true, of course.

But do the rest of the band realise how much effort goes into remaining completely static on stage?

Funny stuff! I do fill-in gigs mostly these days. Many are country gigs with out-of-towners. All I can say is a 41 year old can't jump in cowboy boots. Ain't hapnin. Other than that, I put on a show when I play. But, then again, I really love to play so I couldn't just stand there if I tried.
