Well, since there's a 'Bassists who drive a Volvo club', I figured the old Volkswagon needed a bit of love

So yeah, i guess I'm number 1 in the club
Currently driving a 2.5L 2009 black Jetta

post here if you drive a VW!

I've driven many VW's through the years. A '70 Beetle, '71 Karmann Ghia, and most recently a '62 Panel Bus. The bus would hold my gear and a three-way PA. Sadly, I had to retire the bus and now haul my gear in a Dodge Ram 1500.

Wow, this is quite the coinky-dink. I just inherited an '08 Jetta just like yours, Raccio, and I'm totally McLovin' it. I had a couple of GTI's back in the 90's and my DNA has been infected with VW mojo ever since.

My Corolla died on me on the way to a gig several weeks back (still made the show, though) and I got the new wheels the day of my most recent gig. Well the fold-down rear seat actually folds down so that I can more easily stow my stuff and I even hauled most of our PA gear home with the passenger seat still empty.

Don't know if it's because my grandmother was from Germany or something, but MAN I dig these cars.

Never actually driven one, however space is certainly essential for the gigging bassist.

gotta love the old mini-bus! I've always wanted one with some trippy paint job and shag carpet interior

Not gonna lie, there's nothing like the VW mojo
Glad to see someone else rocking the jetta!
and yeah, i never did like the Japanese car thing. Maybe it's cause they're shady ninjas , or maybe because it's gotten to the point where you'd expect them to come in a giant cardboard box and shrink wrap
Welcome, grove pump - #9
