Well, since there's a 'Bassists who drive a Volvo club', I figured the old Volkswagon needed a bit of love
So yeah, i guess I'm number 1 in the club

The bus would hold my gear and a three-way PA. Sadly, I had to retire the bus and now haul my gear in a Dodge Ram 1500.

| | | | Wow, this is quite the coinky-dink. I just inherited an '08 Jetta just like yours, Raccio, and I'm totally McLovin' it. I had a couple of GTI's back in the 90's and my DNA has been infected with VW mojo ever since.
My Corolla died on me on the way to a gig several weeks back (still made the show, though) and I got the new wheels the day of my most recent gig. Well the fold-down rear seat actually folds down so that I can more easily stow my stuff and I even hauled most of our PA gear home with the passenger seat still empty.
Don't know if it's because my grandmother was from Germany or something, but MAN I dig these cars. |

Glad to see someone else rocking the jetta!
and yeah, i never did like the Japanese car thing. Maybe it's cause they're shady ninjas , or maybe because it's gotten to the point where you'd expect them to come in a giant cardboard box and shrink wrap
