Best Show I Ever Played!

I've played some decent shows before, but nothing major. Tonight, I played a show for my high school jazz band. Yeah it was just a school band show, but damn!

The band I'm in opened the show with two songs we wrote ourselves (as opposed to the other bands who played other people's stuff) and I felt so in the zone it was ridiculous! I'm usually not to keen on big crowds and get nervous, but I wasn't nervous at all. The crowd was probably a few hundred people. I was grooving in the pocket the whole time and nailed my solo. It was such an amazing feeling, and I've never felt it before.

Has anyone else experienced this? Where all at once, everything seems to feel perfect? I feel like I'm on a high right now that no drug could cause, it's amazing.

EDIT: the attached thumbnail is a shot of the auditorium we were in.

Enjoy it!

And yea, it's a hard feeling to match.

My guitarist and I hypothesized once that was the reason so many musicians were alcoholics and drug addicts.
