I'm just curious to know what the biggest or best GIG/CLUB/STADIUM/CONCERT VENUE that you've ever played. Did you open for somebody ? Were you in the Headliner act?? I'll go first to give you an idea what i'm talkin' about with my 3 favorites.........If that's alright with you ?? #1. 1982 Headlining and on stage at the Lone Star Cafe' 13st. & 5th Ave. in the Greenwich Village,N.Y.C......When in walks Willie Nelson with a party of 10 to 12 people most of them being New York Yankees. As we go into one of his songs ( Whiskey River ) He nods to us and comes up on stage and plays for 1 1/2 hrs. then comes to our dressing room a bucket of Lone Star Longnecks and hangs out for 45 minutes until we have to go back on.....and then asks us if he could join us again onstage. Needless to say....The crowd went nutz, standing room only, and the plus was we got a Write up in Rolling Stone Magazine ( Sept. 82' issue ) #2. 1982 opening up for Peter Frampton at the Merriweather Post Pavillion with about 30,000 people strong. #3.June 6th. 2009 playing the 5th. Annual Biker Party at Outlander's Motorcycles in Luray,Va.14,000 strong !!!
It might not mean much to some people.........but they were all shining moments in my life that i'll never forget.

Carnegie Hall. This February, with the UCSC Wind ensemble. That was epic. Best sounding room I've ever heard, sent chills down my spine just to tune up in there.

We played in the town's central square, and the crowd was estimated at somewhere over 10,000. The whole square was packed full!
After the show, we took the cog railway up the mountain, and jammed all night with a local band at a mountaintop nightclub. One of the very best nights of my life.
I loved playing in Europe. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Best venue would have to be Park West in Chicago, with Southgate House in Cincinnati a close second.
