Funny thing actually happened to me about 8 years ago... I was playing in a club in Dallas called "Trees". Now a little history at the time I was in a signed band with management being in the "Big 5" and well me and my band we were young and dumb and thought we were untouchable. There was marketing material everywhere in the club for the Black Eyed Peas coming to this little club... posters, flyers, etc. At the time the BEP's were a nobody and I can remember looking at the poster and calling the BEP's a "circus act".... now look at them. They've hit it big time and I'm stuck selling contruction material for a living. What a reality check I have everytime I hear their song play on the radio!!
