BOTB success stories

So Last night my band played at a BOTB, and although, my bass didnt work (long story short) I had to use a 5 string (I had played on it before) and got confuesed about strings and stuff and the drummer got lost and stuffed up the original, we won best cover, playing "A Gunshot to the head of Trepidation" by Trivium.

Does anyone else have BOTB successes

My band made it to the top ten in the Bodog Million dollar battle of the bands outta 7,500 bands. It was pretty much like any other BOTB's. They treat you like mushrooms. Keep you in the dark and feed you S#%*.
