Gifts you've given or received. If you got/ gave music related gifts for Christmas, birthday, anniversary, or anything else in the last week (though mostly Christmas) post it here.
If you didn't, that's great! Don't post saying "I'm ____ and don't believe in gifts/Christmas/whatever". Still feel free to contribute if you have something to contribute.
Anyways, my parents bought me a record/tape/CD player with a radio in it. Along with it, they got me a bunch of vinyls from hair bands. Off the top of my head, it was Dokken, Ratt, Blue Oyster Cult, Heart, and Guns N' Roses. I already had The Wall by Pink Floyd and The Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson. While it still hasn't convinced me that vinyls are the only way to go, the sound quality's certainly great.
I also got a Digitech BP90 mutli effects pedal, which I love, a capo (I know some of you will think I'm crazy), a book filled with blank sheet music, and two fathead posters (Quiet Riot -- Metal Health, and something Ozzy)
Pictures will be up later if I feel like taking them.

My wife picked this thing up at Costco for $150. I scoffed at the idea.
I stand corrected: This thing sounds amazing! Very cool acoustic imaging and it charges the ipods. Looks pretty cool to and the remote control lets you get into the menus.
Thanks honey!

Also a Home Depot gift card to finish it off.
Plus, I got a Korg Monotron, which is pretty fun.
I gave my son a Squier Mini Strat which actually plays pretty well, but the tuners suck. |

And I got a room that I can dedicate to studio type activities

I ruined my holiday prime rib roast with a german oven set to 250 C not 250 F! |
