Calling All Tampa Bay Area Players

Hi all,

Just an FYI. My band (Marshal Law) is playing at a benefit for Dave Muse (formerly of Firefall & The Marshall Tucker Band) & The American Cancer Society. This charity event is being Hosted by The Seaside Inn in New Port Richey (we play there pretty regularly). We will be one on many bands playing on the outside stage during the day & we will be on the inside stage that night.

Would love the chance to meet some local TBers at this worth while event.

Dave Muse-IC Fest 2010

I looked through the band list and noticed that Mike MacArthur is playing. For those who don't know: MIke is a world-class saxophonist, really monster player....I most recently saw him doing some things in conjunction with Andy Irvine's bass clinics and shows in Tampa, and last year I saw Mike playing with Brian Bromberg at the Clearwater Jazz Holiday. He's toured with (the late) Maynard Ferguson, and got called to play Roger Waters' show the last time he was in our area. Years ago, he subbed with my old jazz quartet.

Just want to give a shout out to all to say thanks for coming out and supporting Dave Muse. The event was a great success and we raised a lot of $$ for Dave's chemo treatments.
