I should have posted this in the morning so I remember better...
So last night I went to bed (completely sober) and I had a few dreams, none of which I really remember except for one. I dreamed that I was at a concert and the bass player was using this really crazy bass. I don't feel like drawing it out although I may some other time.
so here's the bass, which i remember surprisingly well.
-Conklin style headstock
-les paul style burst. maybe darker i dont remember. over flame maple
-body shaped like the Rex (pantera) sig model, only more of an upper horn, less of a lower horn, a very kind of square shape, almost like big Al
-MM humbucker in the middle position
-MM single coil in the bridge position
-Gold hardware
-Some massive piece of metal for a bridge.
-6 or 7 strings (dont remember)
-darker colored fingerboard
It actually sounded killer in the dream. sounded like a nice grindy humbucker rock sound, which I know it probably sounds nothing like in the dream = P
has anybody used this pup combo? pics if you have them please. soundclips would be even better! interested to hear what it sounds like...
also if anybody is bored enough to put together a photochopped picture of this bass please do so.
