Making this a bit brief as the con crud has caught up with me and I am sick. Especially after doing the Canada's Got Talent audition yesterday.

Bad people will still be spooned in the bad way.

I submit two attachments from my NOLA trip, a spoon and a chick with a bass.

Cello goes down to the C you get on the third fret of the A string on a bass, and holds the bass line in string quartets and baroque orchestras, so I'm happy to accept it as near enough.

Please don't spoon me

Nah. I am still new to the world of the bass so I don't mind getting schooled. I honestly thought it was just a smaller bass.

Still a thing, so sayeth The Deej

When I first brought my upright into the house and had it in the living room, mrs. chuck3 walked in, saw it and said "that thing is huge."

Then, the band wanted me to play mandolin in a few songs. I thought mrs. c3 might consider buying a mandolin an extravagance since I'm a bass player, but I figured I'd try something. So I got the mandolin, put it in the living room and put the upright in the basement practice space.

Next time mrs. c3 walks into the living room, she spies the mandolin and says "what's that thing?" I said, "I know that upright bass was taking up a lot of room in here, so I got a little one to practice on and put the big one downstairs."

She was impressed with how considerate a husband I can be about things like that.

Getting in on this early, but too tired to post anything besides this:

Tat2dHeart, I hope my love's exquisite musk attracts thee to mine presence, for it burns as if it were the fire of Hades. Plus my metal spoon awaits you!

The token drummer, reporting for duty...

My first post on the last thread hit upon the crazy numbers that these threads have enjoyed. I thought that I'd hit you with some digits again. (I'm talking about numbers folks, don't get too excited.)

In the 36 days since this odyssey started we have had 3,107 posts and 122,762 views.

That is pretty cool. (We do seem to have lot of voyeurs in our midst.)

well, it *was* the menage-a-trois thread, so I was trying to take it out on message at or about the 1,000 post mark.

I have to think about "fourplay" a little.

Checking in to say Hi! And now must go back to rocking out in my living room to an audience of annoyed kids and howling dogs.
