Up here our band is pretty casual and we have to make our own gigs. We find a good size bar that can accommodate the band set-up and a dance floor. We invite our guests. No cost for the hall at all. Negotiate a percentage of the bar take to go to the fundraiser. Charge a cover at the door. Pass a hat. Run a 50/50 draw. Anything.
