Keep it as is. That way, every time we check in we can say we're "gittin' some Tail"!

Any ideas?
I don't have any that haven't already been mentioned, but you're doing a good thing. As far as inviting them, definitely invite them and also mention that you know they're going through a really rough time and understand completely if they aren't there.

Oooooooh, presenting new layers in the onion is another uncommon, under appreciated skill. Finding new layers to peel is SO much fun! I like the way you think (but I think you already knew that !

As you can see, I thought of a better way to phrase my original response.

Not a cat, but whatever...

Also, my band finally has a name, so it's shameless plug time.

Can anybody tell me how to get a link in my signature? It says I can't use BBCode links in it.

Definitely invite the family and tell them you understand you don't expect them to come but wanted them to know about it.

Up here our band is pretty casual and we have to make our own gigs. We find a good size bar that can accommodate the band set-up and a dance floor. We invite our guests. No cost for the hall at all. Negotiate a percentage of the bar take to go to the fundraiser. Charge a cover at the door. Pass a hat. Run a 50/50 draw. Anything.

Use
Code:
[urlx] use those brackets and code[/urlx]
and remove the x

If you don't have enough space, fork over the 20 and advertise yourself, band, pimp your lady or fave saying.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Auto. I agree that a local bar that is "band friendly" would be the best place for such an event. Good luck.
