Chick vs Chick w/Bass: Eight Days a Week

To continue our interesting little CWB thread onward and upward....

We've talked about all these things....

and

We've turned ourselves into cartoons, started a t-shirt business, founded a band of superheroes to kill zombies, and fixed all kinds of gear problems.

So what's next now that we've added another day to the week?

Way to go with the start of #8, Tat. Nicely done.

Thanks for the help and suggestions everyone with the buzz! I took Chuck's advice and did some experimenting with different amps, volumes, and places - after tweaking a number of things on bass and amp and many various trials (including one at very high volume in my living room...), I think we deduced that it is actually something in our drummer's basement, possibly her furnace or something in the crawl space, that is vibrating and causing the noise. It seemed implausible considering it happens only with the one note, but upon closer inspection I realized that it does it with all the low notes at higher volume but the "G" for whatever reason is simply more pronounced. Kinda weird...

Anyway, I really, really appreciate all the responses and suggestions. You guys are the best!

And thanks for the compliments, Chuck and FM.

And FM, we seriously need pics of those boots.

Just went back and caught the last few posts of #7 -

ric3xrt - Good ears, you were right on the money!

Jim - Re: shopping, I was out literally ALL NIGHT last night with a group of friends/ family doing some insane shopping and am taking the day to recover. I'm so zombified, I had to cancel plans to go out tonight... I'm much too old to be out all night 2 nights in a row, LOL.

EasyJames - Awesome to hear. If you lived closer, I'd invite you out to jam with us. It's not unusual for us to have people join in, and it's always a lot of fun. Chuck, you'd be welcome to join in too. That'd be a lot of vibration in the basement when we all hit the G, though.

Tat - hope you have a fun night at karaoke, as usual we want details tomorrow.

I have noticed my post count has not been increasing lately because I am mostly posting in misc. thread.section. I think the CWB thread series needs its own area of the topic section (where these posts count...)!

Last night I was playing bass down in the music room and Jackie said there was one low note that rattled the china in the dining room.

We are in our 8th chapter already, amazing.

Yes, pics of you in those boots will drive us through another five pages at least FM.

lol

Another thing CWB has always had besides chicks, basses, shoes, spoons, t-shirts, and superheros is sharing our music.

So until I find another chick/bass pic to post I'll share some music.

Here we are doing the old surf tune Pipeline. Not our usual genre at all but lots of fun.

Me on the right in the white shirt, my son on the left in black playing lead.

So up here in Canada it's not a holiday weekend. So my band was at my place jamming tonight. We were totally getting it. It was a very fun rehearsal and it was mostly based around new songs. Psycho Killler is about 90% there. So is "Some Kind of Wonderful."

Very satisfying to have a few songs all come close to being stage worthy all at once.
