They must be guitards...most of their playing seems to be well above the 7th fret!

Hey! I love it! Two of my favorite things; bass guitars and birds. They look like they are really doing their best to get some sound out of that guitar!

My dear boy, you are misguided. Please, avail us as to your weapon of choice, so that us Gibson (and Epiphone) players may join you in mockery!

Actually, seeing that (most) Gibson basses are shortscale, they're not even that good bird perches: 4 less inches of perch than you'd get out of an SX a tenth of the price!

Thus slap & pop has morphed into the flap & poop technique.

See my user title.

Mock all you care, won't change my opinion one bit (anymore than yours will be changed by my opinion).

You could always get an EB-OL....but they're even more expensive, because they're rare, and collectors think that makes 'em better...

(FWIW, the extra 4" didn't help...IMO... )

Whoa people.... didn't mean to start a flaming war with Gibson owners.
True, they're not making much music but the idea was cool.
Also wish there was real video rather than the slideshow.
Keep your eye on the birdie !

I love birds. (I have 3 cockatiels.) I'm sorry for the instruments, but I really liked that picture series.
