It went OK, but I am completely smitten by Maria of Hurry the Rising, who went on before us; simply outstanding.
The all-red instrumentation looks good; dig the Roscoe Beck.
There's lots more of Maria, on the band's Facebook page.

Fun times. Tomorrow I'm doing an opening slot for the first time in years, should have time to take pictures during the headliner's sets... looking at the fb invite it should be mostly college-age girls.

The view from behind was exquisite:
Good shot of my pedalboard and BG250 combo (sideways on a stand), that seems to serve me well, for louder gigs, as of late.

Anyway, we're playing an outdoor gig, a sidewalk show, lots of passers-by... and I look over just as a Pretty Young Thing rides up on her bike - a hippie chick, braless in a tank-top (pause while you imagine that arrival) - and then she stops, and leans forward as she gets off her bike - it was like going from Imagination to "Here, this is what you were imagining!" I'm pretty sure I finished the song, but for some reason, I can't really remember...
