I've been hand clapping for over fifteen years and I can do nearly any type of clap imaginable--from the one in Outkast's "Hey Ya" to the one in "Private Eyes" by Hall and Oates. I would now like to put together a band to compose original music around some of the claps that I myself have been writing lately. I have some backing vocal ability, but I would really like to be able to focus on my clapping, so any musicians that can also sing would really be a plus.

I have a large down town practice space and access to a state-of-the-art mixing board and PA. I'd like to make music that encompasses a variety of infuences (from Indie Rock to Classic Rock to Reggae) so any creative, opened minded individuals with large musical ambitions should feel encouraged to contact me.

Catch the Clap!!!"

that's on milwaukee's craigslist... i chuckled...

Also... the Clap is the B-Side of love

sadly, that's pretty much the story behind a now defunct local band called Clap Clap.

they wrote songs based around clapping patterns. i kid you not. not bad stuff either, but it got rather repetative rather quickly.

p.s. i love this town!

I'm need of some help and this is a real post. I believe that I was hypnotized a few years ago and I believe strange things happen to me after hearing certain "key" words. I have not been able to relax my mind or put my irrational anxiety to rest. I do have the ability to see the rational and irrational at the same time. Was I hypnotized or am I insane? I do have the ability to see the irrational and know where it comes from, in a 3rd person kind of way. I know I have lost time. Possibly after hearing the "key" word, I black out. I've put a lot of thought into this and have it narrowed down to two places it could have very well happened. I once was very opinionated about certain things and may have pushed it a bit too far with a certain group that would have definitely plotted revenge. So after being lured in to try some things I may have gone my whole life without trying, things began to go wrong. No addiction. I also remember a conversation while there about hypnotism. and with the aid, I was put under a spell, so to say. I need the magic word to end this. I've had enough, surrender. let me get on with my life.

Hi,

I was interested in the pick of DOOM you have for sale. I'm looking for something with copious amounts of evil, but the custom B.C. Rich I just had made, which has a blood red paint job (literally, blood red, made from the blood of all babies born between June 12th-14th of this year) just isn't cutting it.

Please let me know if it's still available

Thanks,
Larry
I gave him the most un-metal name I could think of.

Sounds like a psychedelic experience gone awry, schizophrenia perhaps? Poor guy.

Finally! A band that won't get all 'freaked out' about that job I pulled in Chi-town a few years back.
