talk about an ego

This guy's got issues:

Let me help you.

-Having a Bass, does not make you a Bass Player.
You're just another guy with a Bass....

-Talking about playing the Bass, more than you actually play the Bass
You're just another guy with a Bass

-If you're primary source of income is not from performing.
You're just another guy with a Bass...

-If you have a full time job 9-5 mon thru sat. That does not involve
performing or practicing.
You're just another guy with a Bass...

-If at the end of the year for your taxes you are not 1099
You're just another guy with a Bass

-If you don't use i.r.s. schedule C. for your equipment deductions
You're just another guy with a Bass

-If your profession on your taxes isn't stated: "Qualified Performing Artist"
You're just another guy with a Bass

-If you currently are not under contract with a production, recording/touring act
or with a venue.

Everyone together......You're just another guy with a Bass.

Get a life and leave music to the professionals. WHAT!!!!!!!!!

Some people forget their roots so quickly...At some point Cptn. DoucheBaggio here was just "a guy with a bass," now he's risen to the level of "professional feminine hygiene product storage device with a bass."

This is like the time I helped a singer songwriter at work jump his car...and we started talking about music and gear, I said something along the lines of "yeah its an expensive hobby" to which he replied with a 15 minute rant about his dedication...spare me.

I have heard that one before, someone copy/pasted it lol. nboyer941 what happens to the "pros" after there "time" is done, once the contracts are dropped and your unable to tour/play like you used to, do you demote to "just a guy with a bass"? I have seen alot of "pros" that match what you have stated that suck at playing bass.

I stay away from these arguments because it is fruitless.

Everyone has their opinion and will camp on it.

I have played with one key guy who went up to being a full time pro. Back then he was a keyboard player, not a guy with a keyboard.

These mini rants are so retarded, really.
