not sure if this is in the right section.......

but,,,,,

im playing my very first gig this coming saturday night.

its myself and 3 other good mates, and we all work together too.

we are called Fenton Stack and we shall be covering about 20 songs in two sets for friends and family, about 50-60 people.

among the songs we shall be playing are, song2, paranoid, breaking the law, 20th century boy, wild thing and smells like teen spirit.

we have been together for a year or so, just learning to play together and having a ball...........ive been playing bass for about 3 years now.

wish us luck, i know its going to be good, but bloody hell will it be nerve wracking!

ive attachted a mp3 of a track we "recorded".
it was my first attempt at trying to get something good enough to put on a cd with a few other songs, so please....be kind!!! lol

laters, take care all...............rock n roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck Dude. We are doing a similar thing this weekend too. I guess it's our first gig also. We did a song or two at our one guitarists retirement party and not the whole band played, so I would say this is our first whole band gig. But like I said good luck to you and have fun.

Enjoy yourselves!
Not much beats playing music you enjoy, with good people.

Nothing beats hangin' your ass in the breeze. First gigs are usually fun and provide the enthusiasm to keep practicing till your second gig.
