You'd think people would be requesting him on CL instead of the other way around...

Just saw another one of a guitar looking to start a 3 piece band he says his influences are alot of hard indie rock like the white stripes, and Motown

Didn't know motown was now considered hard indie rock...of course i didnt know the white stripes were either.

Remember to copy the ad so when it gets pulled down in a day or so, we are not all scratching our heads wondering what all the fuss was about.

Seriously, I am the best. Looking for any band that has some paying gigs. Can suit any style. I'm 21, have pro gear, and lots of confidence in my abilities. I'll send you sample guitar tracks if you're interested.
Music is my life!

done, and done! Just waiting for a reply XD

Some friends of mine have a cover band there... they're guitarist is out on injury and
they need a good guitarist for about 5 or 6 shows... mid-sized/large upscale bars

everything from arena-rock to classic rock... some country and prog-rock

it's three to four 45min sets... guaranteed at least $150/show, food and liquor tickets
they might be able to put in for the rehearsals as well. You guys have to
work that out.

1st gig is end of February

Let me know if you'll do it

You're ad sounds promising, but I'll get you to send those guitar tracks so I can show the band. They'll want to hear them definitely

Thanks

In this guy's defense, i think what he meant was the he liked indie rock and motown, meaning two separate genres (not that motown's a genre on it's own but whatever). I just think he has rubbish grammar and punctuation skills.

Best lead guitarist in Tallahassee? Is that any better than being the best guitarist in Boelus Nebraska?

This is pathetic. Don't you have anything better to do with your time than to harass another musician?

What the Hello? Are you from there?

I was in Boelus in 1976 for a regatta and met someone with relatives in my small Michigan hometown.
