YOU MUST:
have your own gear
be of drinking age
love teenage bottlerocket

F%*K YOU IF:
you eat meat (no big macs in the tour van)
are in school (unless you'll drop out)
have a kid (unless you are a deadbeat*)

Please answer the following questions in your reply:
what kind of bass gear do you have?
how f$*ked up do you like getting?
can you sing?
how old are you?
what other bands have you been in?
how much show experience do you have?
what are some of your favorite pop punk bands?
what other music do you like?
can you legally drive?

*thats right. f%$k your kid. if you are dumb enough to bring a child into the world in the first place, you wont be a good parent anyway.
Now discuss

No doubt the discriptions will attract musicians as dysfunctional as the one who posted that 'sterling' joke-of-an ad.. pathetic. I just wonder if that's really just 'bait' to trip people up with, or a serious inquery?

We have them here too! This is from a major cities free classies.
"Need Bass Player for Rockin' Band"
We are a group of devoted, experienced musos schooled in heavy metal and live performance. We are launching a rock band with the intention of getting signed, touring and generally not having to front up to a crappy job every day. We draw on many influences and try not to stay to stuck to genres or a single theme (as long as it rocks) We have a 13 track album written, most of that already recorded including a finished (except bass) four track demo ready to be fired at JJJ. We have all the gear for recording, a killer bass amp and even a couple spare bass guitars.
We require a bassist. Someone who shares our vision to bludge in the decadence of rock stardom and is willing to actually work for a little while to achieve it. So if you dream of rockin out as you perform your menial tasks and can't help feeling you're meant for bigger things, give us a call, we understand.
