On our local Craigslist, there seems to be an offer for a gig that pays nothing every week. There are also bands that are looking for gigs/selling their services on CL as well.
So I put up an ad offering musical entertainment for work around the house. I'm behind on a bunch of stuff, and the old lady is pissed off at me, so I figured since there's always someone looking for free entertainment, I'd at least barter services. I could use help weeding, fixing some stuff around the house, landscaping, HVAC, etc. In return, I'd provide entertainment, sound and lights. It would be a win-win situation for everyone.
So what happens on Craigslist? My ad gets flagged and removed. While other ads for entertainment offered, and people seeking free entertainment remain. WT*? |
