I don't spend much time thinking about how to put other musicians down. I spend my time working on playing just as well on 4 as my guitarist does on six, just as fast, and in harmony with him/her.
That is usually the best way to demonstrate your
bass playing ability, talent and hard work talks, BS walks.

I find the guitar much too confusing nyway with 6 strings and 2 many chords.

5 strings and notes are fine with me.
