the first string i ever broke was an E, but doing it live and finishing the song is damn impressive. that pic looks awesome btw.

Yeah ... ha ha! whats with those fingernails Mister? But that busted 'E' is quite the story to keep passing on to those who would care and understand.. I seriously thought such a thing would be almost impossible to happen due to the inherant strength of that string.

I broke the E string at rehearsal once...it's not fun transposing an octave up, and doesn't sound to great through an octave down

I broke a B and an A on the same song and finished the set (2 more songs). It was brutal, we were playing some avant jazzy stuff with lines and all, a real brain bender.
