Thank you! We're kind of addicted to having you (and all the other CWB men) around, too. It keeps things interesting.

Most definitely gets interesting around here

Well, glad you are home safe and sound and adding to the bass family. Hope everything is going ok with FM. And hope the new drummer works out for PA.

Going to call it a night I think and get some sleep.
See ya later.

Thanks for the kind words FM. Our drummer got back from visiting him today and tells me it looks like he is going to have a long recovery but will make it.

Good morning all.

Jackie is on her way to Chicago again to help her family again. I'm here and hanging with the dogs.

The Fender Zone is cool Tat! One (in the exact same finish) was up on the local CL. Someone snapped it up super quick.

FM! I missed your visit to the forum last night. I'm glad that you are back to work. I'm also sad that you are back to work as I (and I'm sure I speak for everyone) miss your furry self.

Nice looking bass Tat. A good deal I presume? Has the same pup configuration as my Aerodyne though I only have a single volume and tone controls with another to blend the pups. Looks like you have full V/T for each on it's own. Welcome to the Fender club!

You guys were all busy last night while I was watching "The Princess Bride" with my family. Love that movie. I'm not even going to try and respond to everything but I have now caught up on what's going on out there.

Good rehearsal with the band this morning. We have a draft set list now 41 songs on it so far (broken into 3 sets). The hall is booked. Time for some publicity! The one song I sing is still there so I'm glad for that.

We recorded a few of the tracks this morning. When Jim sends them to me I'll put them up for anyone who dares listen. These are just rehearsal tracks and are a long way from perfect but in particular we record songs that we play in a different key or make changes to the structure so that we have tracks to rehearse to.

What the name of that site others have used for sharing audio tracks here?

A VERY good deal. The only bass I've ever bought that I've paid full price on was my Dingwall. And it's been worth every penny. They know how to price their market.

Princess Bride is an awesome movie. Family movie night used to be a big deal with my kids. Now it's just my son and I in the house with the critters. Instead of family movie night, we have family music night. He spends hours scouring the interwebz finding new music with interesting bass for me to hear. For a kid who doesn't play an instrument or have any formal musical training, he's got a surprisingly good ear. Not to mention, he listens to stuff from all generations and across all the genres. Family music night has become a learning experience for me.

A peanut? Dry roasted? Honey roasted? In peanut butter? Boiled? Raw? In the shell?

No biggie. I do contract work in product testing, so that's just the way it goes. If the company I contract for doesn't have anything to test then I don't have anything to test. So, when a project ends, we often hear, "You'll be off next week." Which pretty much means, "We'll call you when we get another contract going. It could be a week, it could be four months, so don't hold your breath for an email or a call."
If I was the main supporter of my family, I wouldn't be able to do it, because there is a LOT of down time, but it's really nice thing to have on the side.

I miss you too! I'll try to check in more.
It's really been the family drama that's been keeping me busy, but it seems that's all over now, so I should be around more.

welcome.

Good to hear that it's looking like a positive outcome, despite the long recovery part...but a long recovery is better than no recovery.

It's in my top five favorites of all time. I just watched it a few nights ago with my three year old daughter and she's already quoting lines from it. She keeps telling her brothers, "Prepare to die."
