Be that as it may, gigs must go on and I've got that acoustic one with the Vague Assurances tomorrow night. Then practice with the Shoemakers on Sunday. In between is Saturday night ... so who knows? Tat, come on up!

They are good people, her father Tom is starting slip pretty fast physically and mentally. We have some tough times ahead of us. Her mom is super sharp mentally although very frail. It will be good to have them closer.
One of us (likely me) is going to go pick them up and bring them up here for Thanksgiving. |

Was it you who asked it i was editing TV or radio?
I do radio, i've been in radio for 22 years and right now do most of my stuff prerecorded and work at the front desk during the day. We do two 12min community talk segments and two 12min paid infomercials each week.

My office is in midtown and was not affected, nor was our house in Brooklyn which is on higher ground (at least for Brooklyn). But mrs C3's office building in lower Manhattan right by New York Harbor got flooded maybe 75 feet deep, with all the subbasements and power equipment etc. Don't know how well you know Manhattan but there is a LOT below sea level and once the water rises over the edge, look out below. So her firm has been displaced as have many others. There's not much I can do to help, and she understands that the show must go on, so I'm keeping the home fires burning 100 miles up the Hudson. We'll have everyone here for Thanksgiving (all three kids, son-in-law, other family) and that will be her chance to chill out.

More pics @ ALEMBIC Essence Fretless 4
I had an Alembic Epic 5 back in the 90's. Shattered my wrist (2 operations, 12 wks in a cast, 4 screws & a plate) left me with very limited movement and I sold the Epic and stopped playing for a while. It will be good to have another one.
Love the wood on your project Tat. Looks a lot like my new addition; burly instead of birdseye..
