You and Jackie have had such a rough year. I'm so sorry to hear that things continue to be rough for you both. Sending thoughts of positivity, strength and comfort your direction.

Tat, sounds like you need some R&R. Bubble bath and a glass of wine should be in your immediate future, I think. Good luck with upcoming auditions - I know you'll be fine.

PA, here is another gem that will challenge your bladder control, if you haven't read it. Start at the beginning.

Farting during a show

We make a girls night of it, get really loopy from over-caffeinated lack of sleep and laugh so hard for so long we can barely breathe and our ribs ache. It's a non-stop shop and laugh fest until we pass out the next morning. Maybe next year, you should plan a Thanksgiving visit to Ohio...

I just booked another show for my band. Same venue, same times. Hopefully the temperature won't be as freakishly cold.

Mike-

Thoughts and prayers are with your family. Keep your chin up, man.

Not to be outdone by DerTeufel, who is in a very good place enjoying his new amp head, I decided to spend a little more dough on something I've been planning for;

I'm picking up a new-to-me Carvin BX500 head from fellow TB'er jgolfer. I'm going to plop it on my BR115 cab and take off the MB210 combo I've been using with the 115 as an extension. The MB will go back to being my practice amp because I just can't stand the wiped out Squier 15W I've been using at home.

Next up.......hunting for a good deal on another 8 ohm 115 cab, preferably another Carvin.........

Yup, only on TB. But I have tons of them archived, I'll trot them out in due course.

Hey all..

Thinking of building a 2x15 with my BagEnd components similar to my old BagEnd 2x10 but louder Clearly, it shows that I've got a bit too much time on my hands. I'll take pics if I decide to build it.

Hope everyone is well.

What's the motivation behind that, MB? The modular boxes not cutting it?

I played a Bag End the other day, 1x15. The thing had serious mojo.

I love the single 15 cubes, but they only go to 50 hz in those boxes. The D10BX-D cabs I used to play go to 40hz and took the low B punishment better. I'm making an assumption that if I scale up the 2x10 cab dimensions, I may have a thicker lower end with the 2 15s.

I'm also thinking if I toss on some tilt wheels, I'll be able to whip this thing around with ease, compared to two cubes and a dolly

21 days till Solstice... then The Sun shall return.
I count it down every year, sometimes it's all that gets me through, that and music.

We have a big feast at our house and my Army friend will be coming.

I hear ya. Model the boxes (and drivers) using cabinet design software to get ya in the ballpark.

I have to admit that the cheapie Seismic 210 cab seems to handle the low B fine..not as loudly as I would like, but it doesn't sound flabby or distorted. My biggest beef with em is that they are made out of MDF. I'm currently looking for two decent quality 210s that can handle a low B.
