I'm just trying to be an "Official moCWB Stalker" . . . | I know you weren't talking to me, but we really gotta work on your stalker skills, Vandy. A really good stalker watches and observes without it being quite so obvious that he's really stalking. You gotta be subtle enough that we get that creepy "I feel like someone's watching me" feeling occasionally and not so obvious that we feel like we need to take a shower. If you want some help with this, just let me know, I've never been caught, reported, or had a restraining order filed against me.

I'm just trying to be an "Official moCWB Stalker" . . . | I'm good, thx for asking.
I know nothing whatsoever about naughtiness, having never ever been even a little bit naughty myself.
Although, there will certainly be a good opportunity coming up when we have our Thumpketeer slumber party. Stay tuned for the 27th/ 28th - we will post pics if we manage to take any appropriate enough to post.

Interesting about the introvert part. I am pretty much as well (maybe reserved is a better word) except when I'm on stage. I'm looking forward to next spring when I get a new hip & can get back to prowling around the stage.

The party bands don't get weird about putting somebody up, especially DA BOSS. Gives a guy a break, grab a cocktail, watch the band from the room and hear how his rig sounds live, which is always a great thing.
Have done that a few times and it was always fun. I just made sure not to overstay my welcome. | It's actually quiet for actiually shipping product relative to other parts of the year but this is the time of year when I'm doing all the work to get next Summer and Fall's business lined up. The selling season has gotten to be 10-11 months ahead of when it hits retail. We make hockey tape primarily but we do some Industrial stuff. But not the cello junk. We do hapeavier duty tape like Gaffer's tape.
I just did a couple of songs from their list that I knew. I did not want to stay up to long but it was fun and I really, really enjoyed playing that Gibson.

See, that's a story as old as time and one that every stalkee already knows. A good stalker doesn't tell people where he's going either. You sure you don't wanna take me up on those lessons?

Yesterday was a LONG day for me. My wife and I always get up early on Saturdays to do the grocery shopping. A friend of mine emailed me some links to bikes that I might be interested in, one of which was a few hours drive from me, but it was the best looking one. Needless to say that my wife and I drove to see the bike, and I rode it home. Get home, load the truck for last night's gig, and get to the venue. We had a decent crowd, but I was not happy at all with my rig. I took the GK MB200 and a craptastic Seismic 210. I could barely hear myself on stage, and in the audience it wasn't much better. I decided this morning that the GK and the 210 will be home practice/computer recording rigs.
I just got home from guitar center..hate that place, but I came home with a Markbass LMIII for what one sells for here in the classifieds. |

No matter which cab I use with that MB LMIII, I can get a tone that I like with the headroom to spare. |

We've officially welcomed the new guy (Rick) to the band on our Facebook page. I was really worried after seeing some of his video before the audition last week, but he's fitting in nice. He plays with a low volume and lots of nuance, has some really good strong lead vocals, makes suggestions not demands, and has a similar work ethic to the drummer and I. Yup - I think we're back on track.
